Expression

I’m not fussed about labels. Craftsman, artisan, maker – it’s the fact that people make that’s important.

There isn’t a clear division of where art is and where it isn’t, but in the context of making it doesn’t actually matter. Ultimately, if something’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well.

We think of expression in art means to try to change people’s thinking. In fact, it’s the process of expression, rather than the product, that has that power.

Whatever your expression looks like, and whether you know it or not, it’s a process of self-reflection. The further you go, the deeper your reflection, the more authentic the experience. And this is how we learn to move differently through the world.

By engaging bodily, mindfully and creatively with materials in praxis, new aspects of self are expressed and presented for consideration.

Let’s move differently.
